Men's Health Awareness
Men’s Health Month
June is Men’s Health Month, a time to raise awareness of the physical and mental health challenges many men face and encourage open conversations about wellbeing. Too often, men delay seeking support or put everyone else’s needs before their own.
At Local Support Chesterfield, we’re using Men’s Health Month to highlight local groups, activities and support services that can help improve wellbeing. Alongside trusted national organisations, we want to make it easier for people across Chesterfield to discover support, stay active and connect with others in their community.
Good health is about more than fitness. It includes your mental wellbeing, sleep, relationships, nutrition and staying connected with others. Whether you’re taking your first steps towards a healthier lifestyle or looking for support through a difficult time, help is available.
Looking after your wellbeing
There are lots of simple ways to look after your health:
- Book a routine health check with your GP.
- Stay active in a way you enjoy.
- Make time for friends, family and hobbies.
- Talk openly about your mental health.
- Reach out for support if you’re finding things difficult.
- Connect with local groups and activities to reduce loneliness and improve wellbeing.

💪 Stay Active “Move more. Feel better.”
